Every year, the Atala Chapter of the North American Butterfly Association conducts butterfly counts in North, Central, and South Palm Beach County at nature centers, natural areas and home gardens. These counts are held around the Fourth of July, typically the last weekend in June and/or the first weekend in July. If you would like more information about these counts, please contact us.

  • June 19, 2021 - South Palm Beach County Circle-Center at Linton Blvd. & Carter Road

  • June 26, 2021 - Central Palm Beach County Circle-Center at Forest Hill & The Turnpike 

  • June 27, 2021 - North Palm Beach County Circle-Center at Donald Ross Road & The Turnpike 

  • July 10, 2010 - Kissimmee Prairie State Park 

  • July 17, 2021 - Highlands Hammock Circle
