Every year, the Atala Chapter of the North American Butterfly Association conducts butterfly counts in North, Central, and South Palm Beach County at nature centers, natural areas and home gardens. These counts are held around the Fourth of July, typically the last weekend in June and/or the first weekend in July. If you would like more information about these counts, please contact us.

• June 14, 2025 - South Palm Beach County Circle-Center at Linton Blvd. & Carter Road

• June 21, 2025 - Central Palm Beach County Circle-Center at Forest Hill & The Turnpike 

• June 22, 2025 - North Palm Beach County Circle-Center at Donald Ross Road & The Turnpike 

• TBA - Kissimmee Prairie Preserve State Park 

• July 12, 2025 - Highlands Hammock State Park
